Our Story

BananaramaPH was launched in 2016 from the kitchen of our Top Banana, Kimi. Baking and cooking were always her favorite hobbies, and she absolutely loved baking for family and friends. For years and years they told her to sell the goodies she would make--but she was not interested (yet) to start a food business, as she was building her career in a completely different industry.

One day, her big sister signed her up for a pop-up without telling her. Cute, right? Except that it was A WEEK AWAY. Top Banana didn't even have time to get annoyed--in one week, she had to find her glass bottle suppliers (yup, she started with glass jars she misses very much), make a logo, make labels, cost things, start a social media account...it was bananas. But it paid off, because by the 2nd day of the 3-day pop-up, she was completely sold out of banana pudding. And nobody then knew what banana pudding was...YET!

Slowly she built the business on her O.G., the Bananarama Classic, but in a few months, she launched Bananarama Caramel, which was included in the year-end Yummy Magazine Top 50 Desserts. She didn't stop there--she added mango pudding to her roster, avocado pudding, and different flavors for everything. Soon, her cookies and tarts and cakes made it to the menu, and every so often she offers a one-of of other secret recipes she has.

Since that very first day of BananaramaPH, the original recipe has stayed the same, and every product focuses on quality ingredients that are always the finest ones, with no substitutes, and with each component exactly of the caliber she would serve to her family--and to her, family always deserves the best of the best.
